Magnus Pettersen is a Norwegian designer who studied at the Royal College of Art in London and runs a studio in Oslo, known for stripped-back geometry and careful joinery. The piece embodies WOUD's design philosophy: simple, functional, and pared back — without leaning on ornament or finish gimmicks. Inspired by the display showcases found in museums, the Parallel coffee table plays with the integration of curated galleries in the home. By leveraging glass, the space between the horizontal planes serves as an aesthetic exhibition area for books and decorative objects in the living room.

Constructed from white pigmented lacquered oak, tabletop tempered glass.
